Since 1968, Four Seasons Florist has been a cornerstone of the Clarksville community, crafting beautiful floral arrangements for every occasion. With two locations—Wilma Rudolph and Hilldale on Madison St.—we’re proud of our long-standing reputation for quality and creativity. Under new ownership, we’re entering an exciting growth phase, modernizing our operations and renovating our shops. What hasn’t changed is our team: a group of dedicated professionals with a combined 100+ years of experience. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM with one saturday per month and occasional overtime during busy seasons and shorter days during slower times.

Responsibilities

As a Floral Designer at Four Seasons Florist, your primary focus will be creating stunning arrangements with efficiency and attention to detail. You’ll work on daily delivery orders, funeral arrangements, and special events, ensuring every piece meets our high-quality standards. Your day-to-day will include:

• Designing floral arrangements within budget and sometimes without a recipe.
• Communicating with customers over the phone to clarify design details.
• Managing your time effectively to complete all arrangements on schedule.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace at the end of each day.
• Assisting with flower processing and supporting other team members as needed.
• Staying late (with paid overtime) during holidays, events, or busy weeks to get the job done.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for flowers and commitment to quality. To thrive in this role, you should have:

• At least 1 year of professional floral design experience, preferably in a flower shop setting.
• A love of beautiful flowers and a strong understanding of color and design.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• The physical stamina to stand at a design table throughout the day.
• The ability to identify when flowers are past their prime and should not be used.
