Prestige Event Design is seeking an experienced Lead Florist to oversee floral arrangements, installations, and event styling on a contract (1099) basis. The ideal candidate should be skilled in foam-free, traditional foam, and silk floral techniques and available for weddings, styled shoots, and large-scale event installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute floral arrangements for weddings and events, including bouquets, centerpieces, floral arches, and installations.
- Work with foam-free, traditional foam, and silk flowers, adapting designs for different event needs.
- Collaborate with the lead planner/designer to align florals with event themes.
- Lead on-site floral setup and breakdown, ensuring professional execution.
- Assist with styled shoots to enhance visual branding.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of floral design experience, preferably in weddings or event installations.
- Expertise in foam-free mechanics, floral foam, and silk floral designs.
- Ability to handle large-scale floral setups and installations.
- Available for event days, including weekends as needed.
- Reliable transportation required for event travel.
Position Details:
Schedule: Contract-Based, As Needed
Compensation: $28 - $40 per hour, based on experience
