Under general direction of the Director of Public Works and within guidelines set by policies, rules, and regulations, this position is responsible for evaluation, installation, maintenance, and repair of the City’s beautification projects along with supervising crews.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Ornamental Horticulture, Landscape Horticulture, Floriculture or related field preferred; three years experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture or a related field. Three years supervisory experience preferred.

The work is medium work which requires Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally,
and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:

Work is performed indoors and outdoors.
