Full Time Floral Designer

The Floral Designer is responsible for working with floral designs to create arrangements that build long term customer relationships and repeat business. This position is critical to Dr. Delphinium; the Floral Designer, is the heart of creativity and impacts the business by providing a world-class service experience that impacts the profitability of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Provides an exceptional customer experience that inspires repeat business.
• Addresses clients concerns and informs the Manager immediately if necessary
• Creates floral designs incorporating an innovative use of colors, floral and accent materials, and vessels, while meeting established criteria for Dr Delphinium Designs and Events and cost of good sold
• Maintains confidential customer information.
• Monitors orders and confirms details on a constant basis to ensure customer selection is processed correctly.
• Client contact and sales responsibility within the store
• Ensures 100% compliance with all company policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Supports and assists team members on as needed basis
• Maintains neat and clean appearance at all times.

• Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel.

• An eye for creativity and design
• Minimum two years of custom floral design (fresh flowers) experience in a high volume floral shop or design studio required.
