This position allows for the training of new employees in the floral arts and will work directly with experienced florists.
Walter Knoll Florist is looking for a talented Florist in Training to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers and a desire to learn and grow within the floral industry.
Responsibilities:
• Helping our clients select gifts • Learning the art of floral design and the principles behind it• Assisting the Head Florist in all aspects of floral design, including but not limited to designing, preparing, and arranging fresh floral materials• Participating in the cleaning and maintenance of the shop's floral materials and design space• Assisting with event set-up and tear-down• Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering phones, and taking orders both in person and over the phone• Participating in the inventory process and ensuring that all supplies are stocked and organized• Assisting in the development of creative floral design ideas
Qualifications:
• 0-2 years of floral design or related experience• Passion for flowers and floral design• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment• Strong communication and customer service skills• Ability to work independently or as part of a team• Detail-oriented and organized
