Florist & Floral Design

Wedgewood Weddings is looking for a Floral Production & Design Support team member to help bring our weddings and events to life behind the scenes.

You’ll spend your time working directly with flowers—processing fresh shipments, prepping stems, organizing inventory, and supporting the design team as arrangements come together. Some days you’re in the studio getting everything ready; other days you’re loading vans, heading to venues, and helping install florals and décor on-site before guests arrive.

You’re a detail-oriented, hardworking team player who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You move with urgency, take direction well, and adapt quickly as priorities shift. You take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly, knowing your work plays a big role in how the final event looks and feels.

You enjoy being part of a team that builds something tangible from start to finish—and you like seeing your work come to life in real time.

The Role

You’ll focus in one primary area while cross-training across the team:

Floral Production & Design Support

  • Prep and process incoming flowers (trim, hydrate, condition)

  • Clean and organize vessels, tools, and workspace

  • Support floral designers with arrangement production

  • Maintain quality, freshness, and presentation standards

  • Pull and organize floral and décor items for events

  • Pack and prep vans with accuracy and care

  • Help keep the studio and warehouse running efficiently

Event Installation

  • Assist with load-ins, installs, and breakdowns

  • Set up floral and décor on-site at venues

  • Work alongside designers, sales, and venue teams

  • Safely load, transport, and install equipment and décor

  • Stay flexible and solutions-focused when plans change

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in floral, events, or hands-on production work. 1+ year in weddings, events, or floral design (preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality execution

  • Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-first mindset - you jump in and support where needed

  • Comfortable taking direction and following through quickly

  • Ability to multitask and adjust as priorities shift

  • Basic knowledge of floral mechanics, color, or event design

  • Experience with setup, installation, or warehouse-style environments

Physical & Schedule Requirements

  • Able to lift and carry 30–40 lbs regularly

  • Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods

  • Ability to work:

    • Indoors and outdoors

    • On ladders (up to 15’)

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (must be 21+)

  • Comfortable driving company vans

  • Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required
