Floral Associate - Part-Time

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:  

• Provide prompt and courteous service to customers according to company policies 
• Maintain floral case and display areas, indoors and outdoors 
• Water plants, remove dead flowers, yellow leaves and rearrange displays as directed 
• Write up orders for plants, flowers, balloons, etc. 
• Unpack deliveries, check quality of product, and verify against invoices. Report any discrepancies to the manager  
• Make fruit baskets, gift baskets, floral arrangements, etc. as directed  
• Maintain knowledge of all products sold in the department  
• Fill helium balloons as needed. 
• Maintain shelves, cases, floors and storage areas in clean condition 
• Perform other functions as requested.

Requirements: 

• Must be a self starter and able to take direction well. Also must be able to work well with others as a group
• Must be 18 years of age

Physical Demands: 

• Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty 
• Work in cooler for short periods of time 
• Lift cases/containers of product up to 35 pounds
