Standard work week: Seasonal (Tues-Saturday, Some Sundays may be required)

Rate: $20+/hourly based on experience

We're looking for a Senior Wedding Design + Install to join our team of talented Wedding Designers and Installers. This person will have demonstrated experience in the wedding floral industry and knowledge of the ins and outs of on site floral design for bigger pieces. In the studio they’ll join our Wedding Design team as they create the upcoming week's weddings. They’ll take charge at installs and delegate tasks to the rest of the install team ensuring that the install goes smoothly and matches the vision we promised.

Responsibilities:

• Floral design and production for beautiful weddings and events.
  • Designing bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, altar pieces, and more.
• Processing, prepping, and organization of floral and materials.
• Will lead on-site setups and creative installations with team (Fri/Sat)
  • Lead designer on site at installs; designing arches, chuppahs, ceiling greenery etc...
  • Ensure the team works efficiently and in a professional manner off site.
• Communication with the wedding producers, consultant, and dispatch team about issues/progress of install
• Floral Design including all aspects of wedding and events elements and production
• Inventory and floral processing when needed
• Training and guidance of Jr designers, assistants and emerging talents
• Daily floral, holiday, corporate design on as needed basis
• Lead workshops as needed

Sample Work Week (subject to change based on Wedding scheduling needs)

• Tuesday - TBD
• Wednesday - 8AM-4PM Wedding Design
• Thursday - 8AM-4PM Wedding Design
• Friday - 9AM-6PM Wedding Installs
• Saturday 11AM-7PM Wedding Installs

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in wedding and event floral design.
• Knowledge of floral names, design techniques, and care.
• Attention to detail with excellent task management skills.
• Open to learning new design techniques and the Flowers for Dreams aesthetic.
• Weekend and floral holiday availability/flexibility in peak periods.
• Extensive Floral Design background, specifically in Wedding Design
• Experience with on site wedding design (arches, chuppahs, hanging pieces, etc)
• Professional demeanor
• Ability to remain calm and professional in interactions with clients
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to drive a F4D Vehicle
• Open Schedule
