Part-Time Floral Designer

Create custom floral arrangements for weddings, funerals, holidays, corporate events, and everyday occasions.

· Assist customers in selecting flowers and design styles. 

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, floral cooler, store, and store front. 

· Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies and flowers. 

· Ensure all arrangements meet quality and design standards. 

· Stay current with floral trends and seasonal designs. 

· Support setup and breakdown of events as needed.

· Taking and logging orders

· Help with deliveries

· Processing of flowers, plants and merchandise 

· Assist staff with ringing up customers

· Ability to work with our on-line floral sales sites

· Ability to dress appropriately for the retail environment 

· Assist with merchandising products for sale 

· Assist with incoming deliveries and products

· Ensuring all safety procedures are followed 

· Ensuring the business operates within the company’s mission statement

· Be a team player 

· Learn & follow all policy & procedures of the agency

· Learn and follow all safety & emergency procedures for the agency

· Be involved in OWC fundraising events

· Perform other duties as assigned, or as they arise.
