Shift Availability for Horticulturalist:

• Full-Time Monday-Friday
• Dayshift

Responsibilities of Horticulturalist:

· Assist in designing, planting, and maintaining annual, perennial, shrub, and ornamental garden beds throughout campus.

· Assist in planting implementation and production of seasonal cut flowers and other crops as needed throughout the year. 

· Assist in developing seasonal planting plans for Hoffer Farm and PV Campus that enhance the appearance of the community year-round.

· Assist with all Farm initiatives including but not limited to livestock and livestock care, harvesting of produce and flowers as well as maintaining care of all. 

· Assist in monitoring the health of trees, shrubs, flowers, and turf, identifying and treating pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies using environmentally responsible practices may include the implantation of the following initiatives pollinator gardens and native plantings.

Qualifications of Horticulturalist :

• · Associate's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Plant Science, or a related field preferred.
• · Equivalent combination of education and professional experience may be considered.
• Ability to communicate with residents and staff. Must have the ability to read and write the English language
