Duties

• Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing shop environment through effective merchandising and stocking of products.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Support e-commerce operations by assisting with online order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shop operations and uphold company standards.
• Utilize strong communication skills to engage with customers and provide information about floral design and related topics.

Requirements

• Previous sales or customer service experience in a retail flower shop is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of flowers and plants is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain shop inventory and assist with stocking duties.
• Familiarity with retail math to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• A proactive attitude towards learning about new products and enhancing customer experiences through effective sales techniques.
