Florist Manager

This is a key business position and oversees all the working components of 2 full-service florists.   It is a Supervisory position.  The successful candidate must have 3 to 5 years proven success and knowledge in the floral arrangement area, including management experience.

In addition, the successful candidate must be willing to take ownership of the business.

There is the opportunity for future pay/incentives contingent upon the overall success of the business, and the total amount added to our business income.

This is a Full Time 40 Hour position with (Flexible) some Saturdays.

 Duties consist of:

· Maintain a clean, neat and organized shop

· Ordering of all products with fiscal accountability in mind

· Weekly/ monthly paperwork including tracking financials

· Prep paperwork at the end of the month for reconciliation 

· Ability to work with the finance department and get them the information they need

· Assuring the cleanliness of the exterior of the facility

· Oversight of inventory both live goods and hard goods 

· Assist staff with ringing up customers

· Ability to work with our on-line floral sales sites

· Ability to be extremely organized with all the data involved in the businesses

· Ability to dress appropriately for the retail environment 

· Merchandising of products for sale 

· Dealing with incoming deliveries and products

· Ensuring all safety procedures are followed 

· Preparing incoming orders as needed

· Ensuring the business operates within the company’s mission statement

· Work with OWC’s BOD on an AI driven inclusive delivery system

. Retail experience plus

. Computer skills a must

. Must be able to work flexible hours, both stores are open on Saturdays

. Must be able to drive own vehicle when needed (mileage reimbursement)

. Ability to answer the phone and communicate in a friendly professional manner with people

. Ability to work as a team with staff members at all levels of the organization
