The Role:

We are seeking a talented Part-Time Florist with a keen eye for design and a love for flowers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in floral design and customer service. This role requires a valid driver's license, as occasional local deliveries or event setups may be needed. For the right candidate, this part-time position has strong potential to grow into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create stunning floral arrangements, bouquets, and centerpieces that meet our high standards.
• Process incoming floral shipments, ensuring proper hydration, care, and storage to maximize freshness.
• Assist customers in-store and over the phone, providing expert advice on floral selections and taking custom orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workspace and retail floor.
• Safely execute local floral deliveries and assist with on-site event setups as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a florist or floral designer.
• A strong portfolio or examples of previous floral work.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (Must be comfortable driving for deliveries).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including some weekends and holidays during peak floral seasons.
