Merion Golf Club is seeking an experienced Full-time Floral Designer to provide and maintain fresh flower arrangements throughout the areas of the Club, including but not limited to dining areas, private parties and special events.
Responsibilities include ordering flowers/supplies, meeting with members to plan and present quotes, stay informed of upcoming events/setups, coordinate with other departments to ensure flowers are appropriate to space, table's sizes, linens, etc. The Club floral designer will need to maintain floral program within Club budget.
Qualified applicants will be tested on their design ability.

1. Has 3+ years of experience working with flowers in a fast paced setting.
2. Stylistically diverse with a sincere desire to learn and design
3. Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
4. Knowledgeable in a variety of designs and styles
5. Organized and self motivational.
6. Has a positive attitude and is a self-starter, someone that will anticipate the needs of the club and take pride in his/her work.
7. The ability to lift 50 lbs. and spend an extended period of time kneeling, lifting, bending, standing, walking, and climbing.
Merion Golf Club is a private golf club in Ardmore, PA, established in 1896. The Club's internationally renowned East Course is currently ranked No. 6 in the nation and No. 12 in the world. The East Course has hosted more USGA championships than any other golf course in America, and is home to some of history's greatest golf moments.
