Floral Associate

$15.00 - $17.10 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to sell Harmons’ fresh floral items by providing remarkable customer service. In addition, this person will ensure that the floral department maintains quality standards and profitability. This person will support the Floral Manager and know all aspects of the floral department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services in the floral department Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the floral department Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items Ensures the floral department is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets company standards for appearance Receives fresh flower deliveries from the Distribution Center and other plant deliveries. Verifies quality of delivered products Displays, merchandises, and upgrades floral products Ensures displayed items are fresh, watered, and rotated appropriately Creates custom floral orders including upgrading bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and other special orders Delivers excellent customer service to all customers Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner Sets a professional and positive example to others Communicates openly and frequently with the Floral Manager, Store Director, and Floral Trainer Ensures company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
