Event Florist Southside Blooms is a 501c3 nonprofit that creates jobs for at-risk young people in the floral industry. We are looking to hire an Event Florist who can handle the customer service of finalizing event/wedding details with clients (we use Honey-book) and lead event/wedding set-ups. This position is mostly a work from home job as the customer service can be done remotely while setting up/tearing down events is the only onsite part of this job (we have an existing floral production operation that will handle all of the floral arrangement prep and they will be able to assist with onsite event work as well).

Requirements
Must have previous florist experience including work on weddings, funerals, and other events as well as prior experience with client intake (creating mood boards, pricing for select floral arrangements, etc.)
Must be a strong leader and work well independently
Must be very professional
Must be a good team player
Must be reliable and responsible
Must be task oriented
Able to work from home to do the customer service duties, but will need to be able to commute to the flower shop in Englewood to transport floral products to events/weddings
