Primary Purpose:
Direct and manage the agricultural science program for assigned campus. Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society, as well as earn appropriate endorsements.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification
Bachelorβs degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
Demonstrated competency in agricultural science

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of agricultural science and technology
Knowledge and experience with National FFA organization
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Energetic, dedicated, and willing to travel
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Ability to supervise agricultural field experiences
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
