Position: Corporate + Events Delivery/Install Associate

Department: Corporate/Event Design

Location: Chicago

Report to: Jillian Roze, Wedding + Event, Director of Operations

Standard work week: Mon - Fri, Full-time (30+ hours per week)

We're looking for a Corporate + Events Delivery/Install Associate to be the face of our corporate subscription and events install team. With every delivery and install this person will build a rapport with clients and keep our internal team updated with concerns or questions about the accounts as they arise. This person will have the ability to problem solve on site, do some on site design, and knowledge of plant care regimens to keep our accounts looking flawless on a weekly basis. They will also assist in the studio, as needed, with design, organization, and prep work.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of our weekly corporate flower rotations

  • Build a rapport with our recurring clients to build trust and ensure friendly and efficient service

  • Keep the F4D team notified of delivery time lines and updated with pictures of each account upon delivery

  • Design on site as needed when a mid-week refresh of floral is necessary

  • Intimate knowledge of the ins and outs of our corporate accounts, knowing their preferences for delivery schedules and specifics of floral they do and do not prefer

  • Event Deliveries and set up

  • Care for our plant maintenance accounts and notify team of any plant health issues in a timely madder

  • In studio event help; boxing events, cooler clean outs, prep work, vase cleaning, and design assists

  • Willingness to work in other departments as needed and shift with the needs of the business

  • Sample Work Week (subject to change based on Event schedule)

    • Monday - Corporate Deliveries 7AM-3PM
    • Tuesday - Event Studio Day 8AM-4PM
    • Wednesday - Corporate Checks/Event Deliveries/In Studio 8AM-4PM
    • Thursday - Corporate & Event Deliveries 7AM-3PM
    • Friday - Event Deliveries 10AM-6PM


Qualifications:

  • People-person with excellent communication and enthusiasm

  • Professional demeanor

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in interactions with clients

  • Willingness to be the face of our corporate deliveries

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

  • Ability to drive a F4D Vehicle

  • Flexibility in scheduling as the event/corporate needs change week to week

  • Knowledge of flowers and some floral design experience and ability

  • Knowledge of plant care and maintenance or a willingness to learn

30/60/90 Day Goals:

  • 30 Days

    • Shadow on all corporate routes

      • Learn the ins and outs of packaging routes

      • Knowledge of where things are in the accounts themselves

      • Understanding of loading dock/delivery info

    • Attend 5+ different event deliveries and set ups

    • In studio days learning how to do prep work and how to organize the space itself

  • 60 Days

    • Successful communication on corporate issues as they arise, keeping us informed of any floral issue and delivery information

    • Mastery of different event set up styles

    • Assist at one workshop

  • 90 Days

    • Create own information binder on all relevant Corporate account information including plant inventories (so that anyone could pick it up and make a successful visit based on your information)

    • Knowledge and ownership of own corporate route
